Sorry about the server hiccup we had this week. Actually, it was more like a server meltdown, but everything is fixed now.
A lot of terrific new vids (and a new fandom or two) have been added.
Alcoholicpixie recommended her Supernatural vid, “Se7en” and I have to say, this is one of the most inventive vids I’ve seen in a while. Excellent!
Dragonchic’s Matrix vid, “Violent Mood Swings” by recommended by Cam. Two Labyrinth vids, Mary Crawford’s “Blue Jean” and ponyboy’s “No Stranger In Your Dreams” were also sent in by Cam.
Castor recommended the wild frivolity vid from The Island.
Lane L Gibson sent in his epic 300 vid.
Cam recommended another great Pride and Prejudice vid, Dreamvision’s “Far Away”.
Brooke just sent in Xandra’s X-Files vid, “Bad Day”.
One of my new favorites is dualbunny’s vid, “Olivia”. Circeniko recommended this dreamy “The Last Unicorn” vid and it’s fantastic.

The Ninth Doctor. This is a Tenth vid, therefore I should not love it this much. The quality of this vid is outstanding on every level from clarity to Di’s brilliant use of effects. This is a full action vid that never stops giving and captures not only the action of the series, but all of the emotion as well; and by gosh, I do believe I may just be a Ten fan afterall now!

Notes: This vid makes me feel good. This is my favorite Ten/Rose vid of all time. The music is perfect (at around 2:05, I could swear I’m watching “Doomsday” for the 100th time) and the editing is quick and smart. I can’t get enough of it!

I added two Doctor Who vids today that I am in love with. Di’s Tenth Doctor vid, “Scattered”, is amazing in scope and presentation. Ana’s Ten/Rose vid, “Starlight”, is the perfect mix of action and sappiness (in a good way), and never strays from the feel of the music.

I had the pleasure of adding a new LOTR vid today. AJ sent in his vid, “Ascension”, a truly unique LOTR vid that combines some of the most beautiful imagery with the horrors of evil and then wraps it all up in one of the best displays of editing I’ve ever seen. The file is large, but worth it. Excellent job, AJ!
Having never watched Firefly or Serenity, I can only say that Brooke’s rec of Sassy Kitten’s “Feel Good Time” is very welcomed. The pacing here is amazing, and I almost want to watch the show after seeing the range of scenes shown by SK. Oh, and is that a bare bum at the end?!?
