This vid is beautiful and it shows John’s conflict of emotions perfectly. I ADORE the sequence with John on the moon talking to his dad, it’s just beautiful. And the ending is just… perfect.

Notes: Where to start?!? I can’t believe this vid was made in 2003. This vid looks like it was made with technology we don’t even know about yet. I normally don’t like a lot of effects, but there are no words to describe how perfectly rendered the effects are in this vid. The song choice is so perfect that I got chills and the scene/clip correlation are stunning. This is a MUST see for everyone. Everyone.

Notes: This is just a purely entertaining vid. The song is angsty, but I swear this is a feel good vid if I’ve ever seen one. Di edits the source to match the lyrics and the tempo flawlessly. I can’t quite put into words just how much I love this vid. Toward the end, the tempo slows and winds down and everytime I watch it I start to feel sad because I’m afraid it’s the end. Yep, I just want this one to never end.

Even though I usually hate vids set to this song, this one is so funny and clever that it makes me even like the song. But the highlights here are definitely Crichton’s “heroic” moments… really funny! Gotta love the human!
